Just as with Blue Apron, Hellofresh box was superbly packaged but more organized and easy to unpack.
Wait till you see the video of us cooking one of the recipes! In my opinion each recipe is well balanced, nutritious, taste great and stimulates proper bowel movements. Yes, good from tongue to butt!
The items inside each box was fresh and of good quality. In one instance we loved the recipe so much that we tried to buy the ingredients from the nearby grocer to repeat it, but sadly the quality of the meat alone could not be matched with the high quality from Hellofresh.
There were also additional ingredients hard to find at the local grocer or so expensive that it was not a sensible purchase. The part that I liked best is that on their website they clearly stated ‘what they expect you to have at home’ and the recipe cards for the current and prior weeks were archived in ‘pdf’ for you to download your favorites.

Like with Blue Apron, there was much need for olive oil but not listed in the what you should have home list. So, here is a coupon for your next purchase of Olive oil from …..(well we are working on getting you that coupon, any brands you know or like please suggest).

There is no excuse to being unhealthy! Especially if you live in New York City. Even with the skyscrapers lining the sky, within this concrete jungle mazed with the diversity of residential and businesses is a very green city.
So, while ordering a box of fresh produce through a local farm in your Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) network is a fantastic way to have organic delivered, or going to your nearby Greenmarket, it’s not the only option.
Without leaving your home or business you can have Fresh foods, fruits and vegetables and even a chef to cook it all up for you or as one of the recent trends – a box of ingredients with instructions on ‘how to prepare it’.
